Kazan – Tatarstan – There is a vast potential with great opportunities for the Islamic economy in the metaverse, tells Muhammad Salman Anjum Chief Mate at InvoiceMate / MateSol | to the participants of Kazan Global Youth Summit. The summit was held on 27-30 August 2022 in Kazan/Tatarstan. The summit was arranged by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation ( OIC ) Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF). Salman was delivering the keynote “Opportunities for Islamic Economy in Metaverse”. Salman elaborated on the concept of the metaverse and how the Islamic economy can take benefit from the opportunities to be created by Web 3.0. The participants showed great interest in the technologies that are going to change the future. The four days event was attended by 300 delegates from 67 countries. H.E. Leyla Fazleeva – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstaninaugurated the summit. The main dignitaries who attended the event were Timur Suleymanov, Minister of Youth Affairs, Republic of Tatarstan, Ibrahim Hissein Ibrahim, the Advisor of the OIC Secretary General, H.E. Foutsou Monouna the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education of the Republic of Cameroon, Fatima Khawaja Shaza, the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs of Pakistan, Kamil Hazrat Samigullin the Mufti, Head of the Muslim Board, ICYF President H.E. Taha Ayhan, Saeed Al Nazari, the Director General of the Federal Youth Authority, Mahmud Erol Kılıç, the Director General of IRCICA, and  H.E. Bilal Erdogan, the World Ethnosport Confederation President.
